How to turn off likes on Instagram when posting
If you no longer want to see the number of likes under your posts, you can disable them in Instagram settings.
1. Add a post and scroll down before clicking the Share option until you find Advanced settings.
2. Slide the toggle to the right next to Hide like and view counts on this post.
3. To share the post, tap the Back icon in the top left corner.
4. Then press the Share button.
Done! Don’t worry! The likes you received won’t disappear anywhere. Their total count will be preserved.
Note: You can hide the like count on Instagram at any time. When you want to show the like count again, tap the three dots in the top right corner and select Unhide like count.
If you hide likes from your Instagram business account, you can still see their count if you want to. You can track the counts in the Insights app. Just tap View Insights below the post and check how many people like your post.

How to hide like counts on posts from other Instagram users
You can hide likes not only on your own Instagram posts, but also on posts from other users. In other words, if you use this feature, your Instagram Feed will look like this:
6 steps to hide likes from other accounts
If you’re sure you don’t want Instagram to display likes under posts from other users, follow these steps:
1. Tap your profile picture in the bottom right corner.
2. Then find the three dots in the top right corner.
3. Go to settings.
4. Choose Privacy.
5. Select Posts.
6. Slide the toggle to the right next to Hide Likes and View Counts.
Done! You have hidden the likes under your post on Instagram. Now instead they will display Liked by [username] and others.
If you want to know exactly who liked your photo or video on Instagram, just click on Others and a complete list of users will appear.
